ScHoolboy Q-Oxymoron

TDE member ScHoolboy Q finally proves he's not just Kendrick Lamar's shadow on his debut Oxymoron. After much postponement, Q releases a solid album with some great features. Each song showcases Q's previously unknown range.

Best Tracks: "Collard Greens", "What They Want", "Prescription/Oxymoron", "The Purge", and "Break The Bank."

Beck-Morning Phase

During my hiatus I found most of my music on a single day, February 25. Everything I post today will have been released on that day. The first is Beck's album Morning Phase. Morning Phase is the first release by Beck since 2008's Modern Guilt. I'm happy to say it lived up to the hype. It sounds like a sequel to Sea Change and it makes for some incredible relaxation music.

Best Tracks: "Blue Moon", "Waking Light", "Morning", and "Unforgiven."

The Weeknd-Drunk In Love

The Weeknd loosely remixes Beyonce's "Drunk In Love" for his 21st birthday. Kiss Land may not have been the best album but I expect his next project to amazing judging from the stuff he's been releasing lately.

Chance The Rapper Update

Since my last post, Chano has been featured in 4 new songs, here they are in the order that I like them. Suprisingly, the one that I most anticipated, "Coast is Clear" produced by Skrillex, was my least favorite. It's repetitive and the production isn't necessarily bad, but it certainly doesn't work as a rap beat. I'm all for Skrillex moving away from dubstep, but he definitely needs some work.

St. South-Get Good

Australian singer/songwriter St. South drops a great track entitled "Get Good."

$aturn-Love You (Just A Gent's Remix)

Sorry about the hiatus, I blame midterms and spring break. Don't worry, I'm back now and I'll post all of the best music I've found in the past month. Don't forget I'm always liking, reposting, and making playlists on my Soundcloud. First off is this remix by my favorite producer right now, Just A Gent. All of his music uses upbeat 808's to make some of the best drops I've ever heard. Also listen to the Australian musician's remixes of "Best Day of My Life", "Sleepwalking", and "Kiss The Devil."
